Blank Metal Medal

The West Kootenay team, which includes players from Nelson, Castlegar, Trail, Rossland and Kelowna, won the mixed Slopitch silver medal at the 2022 Canadian Senior Games in Kamloops.
West Kootenay backed down on a heartbreaking decision to host Kamloops 15-12 in Friday’s Mixed Slow Pitch Championship.

Team West Kootenay competes in the Slopitch mixed sport where the team must have 7 men and 3 women on the field at any given time, and all members must be at least 55 years of age that year.
